davereyes , i have vray 1.48.91 can i use grass micha with it or i need to instal vray 1.05.03

dave, you need to explain me that micha’s method… i’ve read it and tried it, but it doesn’t seem to work. really, this grass you made looks terrific

I guess it doesnt work with the latest version, but try it out. I used 1.05.03 and works perfectly.

Unfortunately Micha’s grass method won’t work with 1.48. build.

thanks davereyes , i use micha grass with vray 1.05.03 and it works perfectly , but i dont i dont have shadow on the grass
Can you tell me how to have a shadow on the grass plz

Christ102, you should first create a default vray material and name it grass, then you click the M on difusse layer, select bitmap then link the image and set is as enviorment and put repeat 9. I guess you are doing the material in the option type like when you use a hdri and that is wrong, you have to create a material. For a better result use the sandboxtool creating some kind of terrain and just apply the material.
