MacBook compatibility

Is Windows Parallels (OpenGL 3-I think) going to be supported? I’m sure this is a very niche scenario but it would be cool. I have a MacBook for when I visit clients and it would be nice to show them tenders while at client meetings. Also for when I work from home, I sometimes would like to render things. I’m aware that bootcamp is compatible but bootcamp is not beneficial for lots of my workflow. Anyway, it would be nice to know this could be considered at least hehehe.. I’m sure some others would be like Yay! :revit: 8o

Parallels will not be able to support Enscape, probably not anytime soon that is at least. OpenGL 4.4 is required to run Enscape, but Parallels doesn’t support that I’m afraid. The only real alternative we’re aware of is Bootcamp at the moment when it comes to running Enscape on a Mac operating system. I still take it that you would like to see native Mac support eventually? In that case, I can also gladly forward your upvote.

thank you.

im not sure what the opengl thing is about, but then i hope parallels provides with opengl 4.4 hehe
yes Enscape for Mac would be great, I use REVIT, so I would have to transfer my model to sketchup and then be able to use Enscape in sketchup for mac. Maybe REVIT will be for Mac in the far future.. hehe.
thank you anyways!

I’m curious if the new Apple silicon is going to do anything with Enscape’s plan (perhaps currently not planned) to support Mac natively.

Big time upvote here for M1 Mac Enscape support. It’s revolutionary.

Still no concrete plans I can talk about yet I’m afraid but your feedback has been forwarded. There are quite a lot of other Mac threads circulating around in the Forum already, so we’re definitely aware of the demand for this implementation of course.
