Yep - my fault. I shouldn’t have opened my mouth. I didn’t know that we were waiting on another little project here before we posted it. Sorry for the misinformation.

is the VISMAT convertor a plugin for 3dmax to export there files to VfR - or can these convertor be installed at VfR to import 3dmax Vray materials??

The vismat converter works through 3dsmax. Unfortunately due to issues with the max material format, we are unable to properly read .mat files to retrieve the correct material information. Because of this we have to create our material through Max rather than simply read the file.
