Noise in DOF render?

Hi Guys, I’m using DOF in a render and Im getting noise on the render. Also it’s different per frame so its a bit ugly in the animation.

Can anyone help me diagnose? Image attached

Hi @matt_foxfuelled and welcome to the forums!

You need to increase your Samples limit(Max Subdivs) to a very high value like 50k or 100k, the Intel denoiser could help as well. Give it a try
Please check this discussion with Vlado’s and Lele’s suggestions, the only difference is that on GPU Progressive sampler is faster/better than buckets
