Ocean (Environment Fog & Vray Mtl) - Reflections Problem

Hello, I hope someone can help me as I am desperate to find a solution soon.

I am working on an tropical ocean scene, and I am having problems with getting the reflections to show up on my V-Ray Material.

I’ve input an Environment Fog shader into the Volume slot under the Shader Group for the ocean depth. The V-Ray material is then using Diffuse, Reflection, & Refraction, which are all functioning as expected without the Environment Fog shader connected.

However, when I have the Fog connected, the reflections become almost completely wiped out. If anyone has anysuggestions, or better ways to create an ocean shader network, please let me know.




it looks like you don’t have enough sample in your reflection.
Try increasing the reflection subdiv.
