Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Excellent Render Teofas :). Congratulations bro.

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

what!!! you got to be kidding me!! you did this with the first version of vray?

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Thx for comments guys. I must say it was nice doing something diferent from architecture.

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

how long did this take you to render n model?

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

i didnt model everything maybe just a 45% of the model, rendering took me 1 day for renders and an afternoon for postpro, modelling some hours.

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Great work! Teo, you got skills

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Nice renders teo, something difference. Hey how did you create the water? I really need some tips on that.

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Teofas
That’s an excellent render. I really like your postprocessing work. I assume the water was pp as well? Really nice blending of photoreal with render!

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Teo these are awesome, looks like a fun project. Will we be able to see your animations when you’re done?

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

40th:  thx bro!

dave: use the clear glass vismat and just add a bump map of water.

andy: the water was model in sketchup with sandbox and texture with vray not pp for that. glad you like it!

tom: maybe ill post the link for animation, but im doing it with another software and not vray :frowning:

Thx for passing by guys.

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Now that’s something different from an architect!
Good luck with the animation. When you say “another software” you mean 3ds max? ;D

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Stef: hey i pm you yesterday check you messages bro

Good luck with the animation. When you say “another software” you mean 3ds max?
Yes, the thing is they want some parts of the model to be moving, and skp and vray for skp cant be done, but it can with max. ;D

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Teo: These are awesome. Its nice to see something outside the norm. Great work my friend. I especially like the one showing above and below water.

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

The great Teo is back! Awesome renders. Love the water.

So that is why we have not seen you very active in the forum the past few weeks. You were busy working on that offshore oil platform.

Have a great day!

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Steeler: thx brother!

Ken: glad you like it bro! the oil platform is just part of my works, some other works i dont post cause they are not good quality, but what is getting me really busy is studing other modelling softwares. :frowning:

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

i am currently looking into vray for 3ds max, i did a few tests last week and it was so easy to achieve realism, why this is so idk

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Great work Teo !
I love the design

Re: =Offshore Oil Platform=

Nocturnis: thx but design is not mine hehe
