Packaging Projects without any Shaders

Hey,
I don’t knew, but may I missed a Checkbutten..
When I try to package a Win32/64 Project, all Vray Shaders are just gray.
If I use Native Shaders, everything works.

2nd. Problem I have is…
Export Max Vrscene works perfect, but in Houdini all the Imported Shaders in UE4 are just the Gray Base Shader.
Ether in Max or Houdini after Packaging all Vray Shaders are lost.

Is there a Checkbutten I missed?

Thanks,
Gerrit

Could you provide information about your V-Ray, UE4 and Windows versions, so we can try to reproduce the issue?

Hi Aleksandar,
UE4.22.0 / Vray NEXT 4.12.00 / Windows 10 1809-17763.678 /
Intel i7-8750H / Nvidia 1060 6Gb 431.60

I am wondering that no one had the same Problem. Is Packaging in general working?

Thank you,
Gerrit

Hi, Gerrit

I am wondering that no one had the same Problem. Is Packaging in general working?
Packaging is working on our end. From the info you provided I see that you are using an old version of V-Ray for Unreal (4.12.00). Please download the latest version (4.12.02 ) and try to package a project with that version. If the problem continues please provide us with the sample scene.

Export Max Vrscene works perfect, but in Houdini all the Imported Shaders in UE4 are just the Gray Base Shader.
The structure in vrscenes that are exported from houdini is different than that to vrscenes that are exported from max due to the complexity of houdini and its capabilities. I will add in our ToDo list to improve the support for vrscenes that are exported from houdini in the upcoming releases. It would be very helpful if you could provide us with a test vrscene.

Best regards,
Alexander

 Worked perfectly for the 64Bit Version.
Thank you,
