Panoramas Field of view

Are panoramas affected by the field of view settings of the view?
All the panoramas I get are very field of view deformed…

Thanks

The field of view setting does not have any effect on the panorama FoV. Can you perhaps share an example with me where this deformation is occurring? Something like a screenshot of it would be more than sufficient to see exactly what you refer to.

Hi Demian,

I think is talking about the deformation you have when you visualize your panorama.

I agree with him, the fov is way too large, and when you view your pano in a square window the effect is less present because of the format but on a 16/9 ratio screen it’s deformated and not natural.

@alejandromartin It’s definitely the viewer and not the pano itself, the panos are fine when viewed in other software: https://www.tours.blockcpm.studio/pierwest/tour/

What I mean is that the panoramas I get they look like if they are done with a camera with a FoV equivalent to a 20mm camera or less. It doesn’t look real.

Image got from the panorama using the web browser.

A render with a 64 Fov, the proportions are realistic but they are not in the panorama.

thank you

Panos are rendered with a field of view of 360x180deg (see my attachment) but … are ‘viewed’ at whatever FOV you or the host(Enscape) set. As I said the fault doesn’t lie with the panorama(s) but with the viewer, or more specifically the settings of the viewer.

Hi thanks for your answers.

I have the same results open them in all the web browsers? can I configure the web browser somehow? do I have to use different software to open them?

Thanks

previous discussion FYI, it would be great if this could be addressed.

Is this website created or is it a template?

@LGawthorp The tour is made with 3DVista, I’ve done 40 or so of them with it.
