Phoenix Water Sim - Mesh separation from the collision geometry

Hello! I’m seeking some advice…
I am creating a shot using a phoenix water sim where I am running a car (cad data) through the water. I have the camera under the water. Above the water the shot looks fine however, under the water you can see areas where the meshing of the water is seperated from the car slightly.
Are there any methods or settings I can use to ensure that the water mesh is conforming to the car better so I don’t get any separated areas?

Important info:
I am using 3ds Max 2023.
The car is only travelling a few mph.
I have the steps per frame at 5.
The grid size is set to 0.6cm and is around 280mil particles currently (The scene is fairly large as the car is to scale so I can’t push the grid size much smaller).

Hello, can you please make sure the tire’s geometry doesn’t have any open edges or other errors? It is possible that Phoenix fails to properly voxelize the object due to errors. Especially if it rotates. Consider making a simplified proxy for water collisions.
