As the release changes, we can see ENSCAPE getting better at outdoor materials, but the way objects are placed, the effect of the adjustments, is as important as the number of types of materials.
The image above, a renderer based on UE4, shows a brushstroke facility for placing random plants. Is it possible to do this in ENSCAPE? In addition, the effect of outdoor plants, especially grassland, plays a decisive role in the quality of the image. We hope to obtain a softer and more real grassland and plant effect. Thank you!
This would be awesome! Great idea!
Seeing as Enscape is a plugin that ties into your CAD solution seamlessly instead of a standalone solution based on a game engine this might be rather hard to pull off. If You’re using SKP I’d suggest looking into Skatter, it exactly does what you’re proposing here, it only needs a little setup.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions - I’m gladly forwarding them accordingly. At the moment there is no ETA regarding such an implementation yet, but I can very well imagine that this is something we generally want to provide in the future. Although we’d loose the synchronicity we’re currently having. Overall, no promises I can make yet.
+1
(allthough i get this messes with the synchronicity)
Coming back to this;
Would an integration of a Skatter-like solution be feasible? You could designate an area (group) in Sketchup (or other software) and it fills with an selection of assets. That way it wouldn’t mess with the synchronicity, right?
