Its Runing Vladimir, TY !!!
now i realize i must finally invest in a good gpu.
Are the new AMD compatible with this technology?

Hehe I was wondering when someone would ask about AMD

We tried the 6800XT and it doesn’t work yet. It is possible that it can be fixed in future drivers (don’t hold your breath) but at this point AMD doesn’t work.

Are the new AMD compatible with this technology?

To add to this, performance in similar path tracing applications, like Minecraft, was shown to be very bad on the AMD GPUs, comparable to the mid-range Turing (20xx) nVidia GPUs and nowhere near the Ampere (30xx) nVidia GPUs.
This could, in theory, be improved with new drivers, but this is somewhat doubtful.

You will have to wait an unspecified amount of time for this technology to mature on AMD’s side.
If you need a new GPU now, you should probably buy nVidia.
This is my personal opinion, not an official recommendation from Chaos Group.

Vladimir Nedev
