i’m having some problem with a couple of reflective materials with glossy reflections set on 0,58, and 0,85. here’s what a got:
glossy reflections
no glossy
it seems to be view dependant somehow, cos the scene rendered just fine from a totally different camera angle. i just stumbled into this thing switching from a camera to another.
i’m on max6, vray 1.47.03, irr map first bounce and lc secondary.
i did a quick search and found out that there’s a fix for the problem, here:
the red dots were actually white when unclamping the output, and black in the vray’s vfb. in fact i was working with a camera correction modifier (that’s problably why the dots didn’t appear in other camera views), and unchecking shadecontext compatibility seem to solve the problem.
i should’ve taken more time reading through old threads before opening a new one, next time i will.
