Render Mask halos around objects

I’m getting halos around objects rendered with Render Mask. I’m using the bucket sampler with BF+LC. Please check the attached screenshot, particularly the ribs of the black side table.

If you clear the VFB before the render, do you still get the bright edges?

Best regards,
Vlado

Ok, a bit more info. If I clear VFB before doing Render Mask, halos don’t appear. Also, the side table in the above image was initially white. Then I made it black and rendered with Render Mask without clearing VFB. Maybe this is why the white halos appeared? Is there a way to get clean edges without clearing VFB?

Having the same issue when rendering (RT-GPU) mostly when using VraySky and then saving as a PNG+alpha.

Any update on this issue? Is it due to my Vray version?

This is how render mask works. If you want to render without the halo effect you need to clear the VFB.

Ok, thanks.
