Hi,
Is there a way to start the vray render slave as a service? If not it would be a nice feature to add.
Currently, when restarting our render farm, our render manager start automatically but I still have to manually start the render slave.
Thank you,
Yannick
If you use the latest builts for the installation you can choose to start the service.
Hi,
thanks. It good to know that it is in the lastest build. Unfortunatly I have requested access to the nightly build several times already and didn’t not got access. So I am going to wait for the next release. Hopefully soon.
BTW, we run the renderserver on our render machines just via the windows autostart. Also the client for the renderfarm-manager. We just use the windows-auto-login and a batchcommand to connect the networkdrives and start everything we need. Works fine for us and we don’t have any trouble with unmapped drives and stuff this way.
