Restore mesh from NEW Vray Proxy

There seems to be no option to restore mesh & reassign shaders with the new Vray Proxy, am I missing something or is this gone for good?

Seems like it, I need to ask our developers for the reason. For now, you can load the .vrmesh again as the old proxy (check tickbox in the import Proxy dialogue) and do the restoring from there.

EDIT: The Restore mesh option will be added in future builds.

Hey, an update: in the latest stable builds you can import the mesh from a proxy in Maya by using a script command.
vrayImportVRmeshGeom <path/to/file.vrmesh>
