Revit Exporting renders with Black Background.

No default backgrounds or Skybox maps will appear.

Has been happening since I installed Enscape-3.5.3+117852

Hey @Travis_Duke
Can open the Enscape Visual Settings → Output tab and tell me what image file format you’re exporting the Screenshot in? Is there a chance it’s .png and “Apply Alpha Channel” is enabled?

If so, please disable the setting. Does the issue still occur?

Hi Kaj,

Thanks for replying. Just set as Jpeg so no option to tick the Alpha. No other channels exported.

I have had to revert back to Enscape-3.4.0+84039 installation for it to not happen. Seems any version of 3.5 is giving me this issue. However in 1 Revit project it didnt give me the black background for some reason and this was on the latest version. So its also inconsistent at this stage.

I see, thanks for replying.

One thing - can you please change the setting to PNG and double check the checkbox is not active? If it’s active, please disable it, then switch back to JPEG and see if that resolves the issue.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please send in a error report using the feedback button in the Enscape interface. This way, my colleagues in support will receive valuable log files to analyze your issue further. Thank you in advance!

Hi Kaj,

That worked. I changed it to a PNG output and the Alpha channel was ticked. I unticked it, changed it back to Jpeg and its fine now.

Thanks for the help.
