Hi!
I notice that Gloss and Reflectivity sliders in Rhino material editor have no effect in Enscape.
If they are at 0% or 100% the render looks exactly the same in Enscape.
It has been like that since forever! Has anyone from the development team looked at how to properly implement these settings?
Thank you!
Hello again,Is this such a big deal to double-check? I mean there are 2 sliders and is easy to see that they don’t have the proper impact in Enscape on materials using a texture…
Hi @FloatingVolume , in general we highly reccomend making use of our Material Editor within Rhino as well as detailed here in our dedicated knowledgebase article. You should be able to achieve the same/very similar results with this method.
If there’s any reason whatsoever in regards to why this presents a limitation to you please let me know, but otherwise this is the way to edit and adjust any of your materials without any unwanted limitations or sliders not functioning.
Hi Demian, thank you for your feedback.
In terms of materials, for my workflow I want to keep things as simple as possible. That is, a Rhino Custom Material where I can quickly change a basic, small size texture.
I can change the texture 50 times If i need a material study. Usually textures might come from Architextures website which holds thousands of textures, some related to real products.
Seriously, the only thing that I am missing is those 2 sliders to properly work.
Thanks again for taking this into consideration, and I wait for a future small fix.
