I have purchased the license version of enscape. But i am facing problems with the RPC trees and human figures as in Enscape they come with red patches over them. I am using the default revit families for it. Also when i opened your demo project of modern residence, the result is the same. What can be the problem and please provide me the solution for it as soon as possible. I am attaching the images here for your reference.
honestly I haven’t seen marked Archvision content like that. They do put their watermark on textures if you haven’t got a valid license of their Archvision RPC content, but that usually looked different. Did you by any chance use unlicensed Archvision content with Enscape? We cache the texture files for loading performance, so that might be the reason you’re still seeing those marked textures in Enscape.
We’ll definitely be able to help you faster, if you can provide us with your log-files and system-specs via the [Feedback] button in Enscape
Ya I did tried to use the unlicensed Archvision content with Enscape but it didnt helped as it had watermark all over it. In that case, activating the “Replace Archvision content” in Advanced Tab of Enscape settings helped to remove this red patches. When this option is off red patches come all over again. So should i remove Archvision plugin from Revit or other alternative to avoid this problem permanently??
could you please try deleting the contents of this folder?
%AppData%\Enscape\Data\Textures
This should delete your cached files. If you now have a licensed version of Archvision, or if you only use the sample content shipped with Revit, the red stripes should no longer occur.
Please let me know in case this doesn’t help resolving the issue!
I deleted the contents of above folder but it only helps when “Replace Archvision content” is kept on in Advanced tab of Settings menu. But when that option is kept off, the red patches come all over again and the Enscape/Data/Textures folder gets filled with the pattern again. So what should be the default settings i.e. whether I should keep the “Replace Archvision content” option on or off? And if I keep it off what can I do to prevent my RPC from red patches?%\enscape\data\textures<>
I’m sorry to hear about that. To be honest, this doesn’t seem to me to be an issue located within Enscape, but rather in the RPC elements you’re using.
Of course you can keep the “Replace Archvision Content” option on and it will not occur, since then you’re using the 3D models provided by us - these won’t get watermarked.
If, however, you’d like to leave this option off to use the original RPC content, and if deleting the cache folder doesn’t help, it seems as if whatever reason responsible for these red stripes is still there.
As a test, could you please create a comparison using the Revit renderer, or have a look at the RPC’s in Revits ‘Realistic’ Visual Style? Is the watermark visible here, as well?
I have uninstalled the Archvision Plugin but still the problem persists. It is all okay in Revit realistic mode but in Enscape only watermarks appear. I have attached the comparison between revit realistic view and enscape view
@hardiknagar06 this sounds very surprising to be honest. In the folder I told you, you should be able to see tiled versions of the RPC’s you are using as image files. Do these have that watermark on them, as well?
could you please try deleting the contents of this folder?
%AppData%\Enscape\Data\Textures
If you now have a valid Archvision subscription, please restart Enscape once.
This should delete your cached files. If you now have a licensed version of Archvision, or if you only use the sample content shipped with Revit, the red stripes
should no longer occur.
Alternatively, if this doesn’t seem to help, please go to
and delete the contents of that folder. This should make sure the issue doesn’t occur anymore - as long as the RPCs don’t also appear watermarked in Revit, of course.
Hi @kenwhen , is this sample content that’s been shipped with Revit that shows up watermarked? Or are these RPCs you’ve downloaded from the Archvision dashboard without license?
In Revit → Realistic view, or if you do a rendering in Revit, do those figures appear watermarked as well?
@kenwhen I’m sorry to hear about that. This is definitely a behavior we’d like to have a closer look at. Could you please check whether this issue occurs in every project?
Also, could you please send us feedback using the [Feedback] button in the Enscape ribbon? Please enter a short description mentioning that RPC sample content is being displayed with watermarks and we’ll see if we can find the reason in your log files.
Hi, so I have also sent a feedback using the button in the Enscape ribbon.
I have tried deleting the files in those folders, but soon I start running Revit, the texture files are created automatically back again. These texture images have red patches on them as well.
I used the 2D RPC plant created with ArchVision Dashboard in revit. It is fine to view in revit in realistic style, but it comes with watermark if I viewed the object in enscape. Please advise what’s happening, big thanks.
