Two weeks ago I had a scene go bad, and it was a disaster. Yesterday, I merged something from that scene, into a new scene, and now it’s happening again. The image below; it’s empty, but in shaded mode you see geometry. What the heck! Any clues? [Capture.PNG]

They had the same units, so I don’t think that that’s the issue, but thanks.

Better to merge in in chunks and test after each merge. You can narrow down the offending object(s)

If I am not being lazy I’ll open the scene and delete what I don’t want and save as.

That script doesn’t seem to work in 2015. I didn’t find the other one mentioned.

That workflow will leave some traces behind I think it’s better to select what you need and save that selection as a seperate max, that way you only save what you need. If there are things hidden somehow they aren’t saved with it.
