Shadows without ceiling

how can i to show only the lights that the windows lets in on the room in revit.

If i made a scope box lower than the ceiling in enscape appears all the floor illuminated and i dont want this.

I don’t know exactly how it would work in Revit but in Sketch-up and rhino this is what your going for correct?

Nice question! The only suggestion I can think of is to isolate what you need in the view (not the section box) that you want to render in plan and then temporarily increase the height of your walls so that the sun doesn’t shine directly in the room from above but only comes in through the lower doors / windows / openings.

jaja nice trick @phil_read thanks i think that enscape should have a cut plane independent of revit

You could make the Revit view more permanent by using Hide Elements over temporary hide/isolate.

@Tearch enscape for revit show it what appears in revit

how can i do it?

In a 3D view, select what you don’t want shown and right click Hide>Selected. Keep going until only what you want displayed remains. Save this view for future reference. Use the eyeglasses icon along the bottom of the view window to temporary reveal hidden elements if you want to select something to unhide.

thanks @phil_read
