When working, I have to listen to music. I have an Creative Audigy 2ZS, but have noticed a lot of marketing around the newer Xi-Fi series.
Has anyone noticed any real gains in system performance with these new cards? There’s a lot of marketing coming from Creative and it’s quite confusing…

This is the same company that released an in-line amplifier for portable mp3 players that makes your music sound ‘better than studio quality’
If it works for what you want, why upgrade?
“better than studio quality” is a scary proposition.
But I’m wondering if the cards offload RAM and other technical blah blah…
