@saeedfar_h , could you kindly send in that scene real quick? The .skp file itself, that would be great. This way I can check this behavior out myself to find the cause behind why the spotlight is not displaying light as it should.
@saeedfar_h , I was not able to reproduce this problem. The light emits light just fine on my machine - in this case, please also make sure that you’re using the latest graphics card drivers for the GT730. In case you’re already up to date GPU driver wise, please submit a feedback report as described here so that we can further troubleshoot the cause behind this.
In the submission form, please also include your forum name so that we know it’s from you.
I have the latest Geforce Graphic driver 391.35 as the Nvidia ceased updating Fermi GPU’s. Also I have been sent the feedback 2 or 3 days ago with a link to support ticket that i sent before.
Also I will add this forum link to the ticket too.
Did you ever get this figured out? My spot lights won’t show up either. I’ve tried it on multiple machines, gone through the above checklists. The self illum, and sphere work but not the spots. I am at a loss.
I’m very new to this. Just started yesterday. I had the same problem and one thing that solved it for me was changing the settings for Units inside the V-Ray Asset editor. I just changed from “Default(Scalar)” to “Radiant Power(W)” and BOOM. BRIGHTNESS EVERYWHERE!
For anyone trying to use VRay lights with Enscape - these are not being registered as Enscape lights! Please refer to this article on how to use Enscape lights in SketchUp
i have same problem with lighting. when i put some lighting like cone or sphere light it wont showed up in real time render. i’ve been increase the luminance but it did not work.
did you check your light at night? Switch the daytime by using Shift + Right Mouse Button and move the mouse.
If your light shows up during night, it can do so during day as well, just increase the brightness further. You will not see the “light bulb”, however, only the light arriving on surfaces.
Okay, can you please check what value you have set for Visual Settings / Atmosphere Tab / “Artificial Light Brightness”? Can you set it to 100 or 200%?
Does that change anything? If not, can you please send me a screenshot of your light in SketchUp?
