Updated license server.. now can't connect via IP address f

Hey,

We updated our license server a few hours ago and ever since we have been unable to connect to the license server via the IP address where the license server is hosted. The dongle is running and the licenses are there but from our workstations we can’t connect.

All that was done was an install, no firewall settings have been changed anywhere. Pinging the server via CMD works fine.

Driving me and our IT guy mad because we can’t work out what’s happened. Anybody have a suggestion?

Well, in true forum fashion. I managed to fix the problem not long after posting this. For some reason, in the firewall settings there were four instances of the VRLS exceptions, two for “domain” and two for “all”. I deleted the two for “all” and stopped and restarted the license server service and this seems to have fixed the problem.
