V-Ray 7.3 Installation Location

I have received a report from my client that V-Ray is not listed in the SketchUp Extension Manager.

Upon investigation, it appears that if V-Ray installations exist in both of the following two locations simultaneously, V-Ray does not load correctly in SketchUp:

  • C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2026\SketchUp\Plugins\
  • C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2026\SketchUp\Plugins

Is it possible for V-Ray to be installed under C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\…? Is this a change introduced in V-Ray 7.3?

Note that according to SketchUp’s own conventions, installation to C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\… appears to be the correct location.
