V-Ray quick settings breaks render region

Hi,

I’ve noticed the following;

Render a region with VFB
Open V-Ray quick settings UI
Re render scene
Render Region will draw but instead of rendering in the render region, V-Ray renders the whole image. The only fix is to restart Maya.

Hi,

I can’t reproduce this even by using the same V-Ray build and the steps provided.
Maybe if you attach one Maya file (can be empty scene) this will help.

It would be even more helpful if you can attach a screen-recorded video.

You’re right - I think it is just a bug with a very specific scene. Once I tried to strip down the scene to send in (removed the maya ascii references) the render region worked again. It’s odd.

I can send you both a screencast of the issue. If you are still interested in the bug, I could package together the scene (It’s quite a large scene)!
