will be get a realtime vantage viewport via Vantage as in V-Ray? Eveb c4d version of V-Ray has this now, woudl be very helpful i think (viewport and build in final render option via Vantage). i prefer corona overall over V-ray these days but Vantage of course is superb
Unknown at the moment, sorry. Vantage reads and works with V-Ray materials etc. and that means Corona has to convert Corona materials into V-Ray materials for Vantage to be able to work with them - a step that doesn’t have to happen for V-Ray.
The first focus for us is to improve the conversion from Corona to V-Ray, so that general Vantage use is improved (e.g. Live Link). Once that is done we have to assess how much lag the conversion process introduces, as that may make a live viewport untenable (as if the conversion takes too long, it wouldn’t be a “live” viewport any more).
The improved conversion is planned for Corona 16 (in the late part of this year), and we’ll be doing some research / proof of concept on how a live Vantage viewport can be done and how live it ends up being - so there won’t be a Vantage in the viewport this year / in the next Corona release.

yes right, this is understandable if a conversion of materials and lights is still needed. i hoped you go another route, adding corona material support to vantage. corona being the top 1 render for archviz should be worth it. as dev i woudl try this route. but i assume you evaluated this option and it is more complicated than one might think
