I am ready to pull the trigger on a new video card. Which one would you suggest? GeForce GTX 980 GeForce GTX 970 They both have 4GB, but the 980 is $200 more on EBay.

For what purpose would this be? If it’s for RT GPU, go for it, If it’s for viewport performances, you might want to consider a quadro Stan

It’s for viewport performance.

If the 5000/6000 fit, which I had and is huge, this should fit. http://www.amazon.com/Zotac-GeForce-DisplayPort-Graphics-ZT-90101-10P/dp/B00NNXVPS2/ref=cm\_wl\_huc\_item

see if the geforce matches the length of the quadro 6000 and also its height as they can be quite fat.

you’ll be fine, the quadro is way way bigger.
