i looked around and couldn’t find the answer to this.
when i use the vray VFB and want to go back to the standard max VFB nothing comes up at render time. the progress indicaor box comes up but not the render itself. i have to go to rendering>show last rendering in order to see the results. what should i do?

nevermind i found it 
rendered frame window check box in the common tab.

on the general render settings near the save to file box there´s a checkbox “render to framed window” turn that on.
