VR - Controllers Not Appearing

Hello,

I’m having problems with my controllers not appearing when in VR mode.

The headset is tracking with no issues, but my controllers aren’t appearing anymore.

My PC setup:

CPU: Intel Z790 DDR5

GPU: Nvidia RTX 4090

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR5

I’m using both the Vive Pro Headset and Vive Pro Controllers.

I’ve tried using a separate set of the original Vive controllers and Valve Index Controllers, but these also don’t appear.

All my hardware is up to date and all the software has been reinstalled multiple times.

While in VR mode, I’m able to hit menu on all my controllers and see that the controllers are working.

I can see all the controllers in the Vive background menu screen, but as soon as I switch back to the enscape program, the controllers dissapear.

I’ve tried other apps/games and the controllers are tracking just fine.

It’s only when I am trying to use Enscape that they are not working.

Note: There have been instances that the controllers appear for a few seconds, but then disappear.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Hi @erikt214 and welcome to our Forum.

Right away I’m afraid the Vive Pro headset (first model) itself is not officially supported by Enscape. We do support the Meta Quest 3, HTC Vive Pro 2 as per our dedicated knowledgebase article you can refer to here.

At this point you can still forward this to the dedicated support team as detailed here so we can at least double check for any issues within your log files or similar to eventually assist you further, though there are no definite promises we can make that it’ll work as expected afterward.
