I ran a benchmark test and I am getting something odd.
This one is way washed out.

This one I pressing the render button again (changed nothing and didn’t let it even start to render) and canceled it right away. It seems to come back into exposure.

Check “Legacy Sun/Sky/camera” in the global switches.
Legacy Camera
I had a hunch that was it.
Then why didn’t you just try it :? .
I think you have chosen ‘darken’ for ’ Previous render’ in Vray → Settings → System.
That way it seemed like the image was getting exposed better ![]()
agreed since your second render took only 1.1 sec ![]()
V-Ray Frame Buffer
I didn’t have that hunch until after I posted
V-Ray frame Buffer
Previous render is set to unchanged… but it is nice to know that does exist.
Still makes me wonder why the second render only took 1.1 secs where the first one tool 4mins ??
