Vray 2 Distributed Rendering Problem

Hello,

I’m having trouble getting DR to work, some times it works, other times it doesn’t. I have 1 workstation, and 1 node, connected via a switch.

Also the scene doesn’t appear to make any difference.

I have played around with the DR settings, names, etc, and nothing appears to make any difference, and it appears like a total lottery wether the node connects or not.

I’ve also deleted the vray_dr.cfg file, so that’s all reset.

Any suggestions / solutions please send my way!!

Does anyone have any suggestions, this is starting to really annoy me?

Are the IPs unique ?
Is the node or server using the same IP ?

Please make sure that the Restart Servers on Render End option from DR settings is activated.
This could be also a network issue - try to ping the machine when this errors appears again.
