I am currently trialling Vray cloud to see if our art team would benefit from its large scale hardware models to help speed up performance of rendering large static images. However my tests have shown so far that the Cloud rendering is a lot worse than local renders .. As i understand the cloud machines for Vray GPU use a Nvidia L4 GPU which is limited to 16GB of VRAM vs the 4090 GPU’s we use on our local machines.. Is this information correct? I was hoping that cloud rendering would benefit from multiple GPU instances to vastly out perform local render times? Note we are not rendering animations, only large static images (roughly 10k square output).
Thoughts welcomed?
