Recently came across this statement from Vlado: “The upload section on the forum is typically quiet and has never been too active. I presume this is because most people usually come to the forum when they have technical issues, but find other places for posting final work.”
This is why I want to share some jobs we did in 2012. Resolutions are quite high for some of them, so you can take a closer look. Feel free to crit and comment.
Mercedes SLK 55 AMG (car is CGI, background is photo)
Guhl Packshot (Full CGI)
Mercedes Safety Campaign (Full CGI)
Please see the next post for more images, I can only upload 5 files per post. Scroll down the page, some replies already slipped in between my posts.
IWC Pilot Watches Campaign (Spitfire over ocean is full CGI, Ocean and Sky rendered in Vue. Spitfire on landing strip is CGI, including hangars and standing aircrafts. Superhornet on aircraft carrier is full CGI. Superhornet over mountains is CGI over photo)
wow…stunning images olli!i love them.do you get the cg cars directly from the client or where do you get those from.they look like nurbs, do you use maya?
@senior_queso: Data is usually supplied by the client. Mostly in Maya format, sometimes as Iges/Stp. We then convert these to Max.
@vlado: Thanks for the kind words. I just wanted to give something back to the community. I believe that even you or the other developers dont really know what is done with their software.
