Hi Everyone, just a basic question, Do we need to have Vray for nuke installed for the Vray plugins to work in nuke?

If you’re talking about the Denoiser and the Lens effects plugins found here - V-Ray Tools
There is no need to have V-Ray for Nuke installed. They are a separate thing and can work on their own.
Thank you for you response, yes i was trying with Lens effect plugin and its don’t seems to work, i tried pasting the vray lens effect content in plugin folder but not sure why its not showing in nuke menu.
On which OS are you installing it on?
Could it be that you picked the wrong version of the plugin by accident?
