I recently played around with Vray 3.60.03 and the VrayLightSelect Renderelement. It seems quite uncomfortable when you can’t add a whole selection of light, but need to add each light objects seperatly.
Would be great if the “add” function would support adding already selected lights.

In order to add multiple light to the Lightselect render element at once you can use the Select by name Max dialog. Just click on Add and then on Select by name icon to select all the lights you want.
Also if you want to add selected lights to the list quickly
select them then press Add then H then Enter
personally I use this script but for sure a built-in tool to do this :
