i’m trying all i can, but i’m unable to use my second machine with 580gtx on it in DR with RT. (didn’t tried with Vray itslef)
i’ve installed Vray 3.0 beta on my slave (slave mode)
then checked the client licence settings. Sounds good…
What can i do ?
Do you get any messages in the V-Ray RT messages window? How many render node licenses do you have on your dongle?

Yep when it receive scene it says : preparing render..
Then, after some time, it says : unable to obtain licence.
But, sometimes, it receive the job then opens an empty file in temp folder : vrscene_20206.txt wich have 0 bytes.
then it says preparing render forever.
here’s the details of my dongle :
Note : phoenix 1.2 seems to not work anymore since i’ve installed Vray 3 (errors into max). But it’s another subject. I’ll see that later.
as i’m puzzled reading the results, i send you an email with my dongle content.

Issue was on my side. W7 firewall completely broken on fresh W7SP1 workstation. amazing.
looks like my inter 240GB SSD drive is not very safe.
SFC / Scannom did a good system reparation.
Now it works, thank you !
