Hi Everyone
Does anyone know what is causing the strange lighting effect in this image (where the ceiling meets the wall)? It’s a frame from an animation, using a pre-calculated irradience map.
Thanks - redi

Are you talking about the light leaks? If so, check on the < Check sample visibility > and see if that helps.
If not, try putting some object obove the ceiling to block surely the light.

maybe try reducing the blur GI value?
thanks
Thanks for your fast responses - i’ll try both your suggestions!
It’s definitely the GI Blur value; set it to 0.0 and it will be fine.
Best regards,
Vlado
thank you
Thanks Vlado,
Setting the GI Blur value to 0.0 worked perfectly!
so we dont get to see a final? are we not worthy enough?
hehehe
He he - Here you go Da_elf
Nice athmosphere on the final ! ![]()
I would just slightly increase the environement sky value ![]()
Very nice interior lighting ! ![]()
Perhaps the background image should be lighter?
Some more detail to explain how the windows slide could give more realism to the image.
Good work!
