What might cause this effect to show in RE:CMasking_ID Mat ID

specifically, the neon color wash effect is can be observed as if there’s a glowing material, im expecting a 2d flat colors (of course). render looks fine and fast as expected but still kinda hard to ignore ive never seen like this before

What version of Corona you are using? Is it 3ds Max or C4D? How was it rendered?

Corona Version 12 update 1
3ds Max 2022

im rendering a specific top down ORTHOGRAPHIC TOP shot of a interior space, a living room. No tri-planar maps, no gamma warning, CELLULAR texmap used for displacement in pillows and rugs however no displacements used in refrigerator (bottom left black mask). no overlapping objects and no overlapping elements

no incorrect gamma warning, all coronabitmaps, the scene is converted, optimized and clean.

can see any common in these materials to cause such phenomenon

I don’t see anything unusual here. But can you please try using Corona 15 and see if problem persists?

It looks like mask propagation is enabled for some of the materials. Because of that, they are showing the reflections of other masks. Even if a material is generally rough/diffuse, it has some reflectivity, since it’s a Corona Physical Material.

I am attaching two scripts for globally disabling mask propagation for all scene materials. One for Physical Mtl and one for Legacy Mtl. To run them, simply drop them in the viewport.
