white/coloured dots on rendered surface

Hi,

Firstly I am new to this forum so hello everyone.

I am rendering a scene with vray but seem to be getting some white and red dots on surfaces:-

Can anyone shed some light on this (no pun intended) and direct me as to remove this.

tiny images.. maybe try to tick subpixel mapping, and clamp, under color mapping.. ? :slight_smile:

I have clamp ticked but not subpixel mapping, ill give it a go.

make the sun or vray lights invisible - that should help :wink:

HDRI can cause this. I rescaled some using hdrshop 1, they disappeared when I used the originals.
