Hi,
if I save a jpg from the frame buffer and start a new rendering, than next time I try to save the output I get png again. It could be great, if during a Rhino session the last used file type could kept.

I have already inquired our devs about this. Might be a bit tricky to implement despite appearing relatively simple. Will post an update once a decision is reached.

Please add this to the next update. I like to use JPG for the dozen of preview shots for my client, to keep HDD usage and email size small, but it’s cumbersome to switch to JPG again and again … .
I second this wish, my workaround is to save press tab and hit j for jpeg, then shift+tab to type the filename, but still it is cumbersome, and it would be nice if this setting was sticky.
