Yacht renders

Hi Guys,

We have recently finished a set of Yacht images here at ARC, here is a selection I thought you might be interested to see…

Cheers

Wow! Nice renders and ..nice design and compositing.

Do people really live like this? WOW!

Wow lovely images!

excellent!
but I think on the exterior shots the sky is too dark

Any data about this renders?
Do you use LWF ?.
thanks

great work!!!

Bobby:
of course they live like this…thats why there is so many poor in the world :-/

very very nice. The staging of the scenes is very well done. My only suggestion would be to exchange the sandals in the bedroom to something in white leather that matches the luggage.

Beautiful work as always!

If I had a crit it would be that there’s some bonkers perspective going on with the chopping board in the kitchen.

They’re really good  the camera looking down slightly on the dining room image really bothers me though.

Yes they sure do - maybe you/we need to start charging more

Sure - all using LWF approach, but with a low Reinhard burn value. Some are lit with VRay sun/sky, some with HDRI combo. 1st exterior shot has a photo backplate (water/sky), 2nd is using VRay displacment for water. All rendered at 5000px wide, using 3dsMax2010 & Vray1.5.

Thanks - yeah kinda grabs your attention aswell being right in the foreground. I didnt prop that one myself, but I won’t name and shame

Yeah me too, not much I could do though, camera needed to be high to see table details and full vertical shift distorted the furniture too much.

Could you have maybe pushed the camera back through the wall with a clipping plane and higher fov?

can you please show me how you displaced water so well…lmao i can never get it to look that good!!!@*

Very nice renders.

Hi - nothing fancy with the water. Its using a VRay displacement modifier (2D) with a standard noise map set to fractal. The water shader has a finer version of the noise as a bump map also.
