VRay Test neoVISUAL v1 - free materials - test your SYSTEM
It's just that the only way a benchmark has any validity is if it is rendered on one machine without any changes. One should just open the file and hit render...
We as creators of this benchmark test strongly urge all users: do NOT POST benchmarks rendered with DR. You are just spamming this SINGLE WORKSTATION benchmark thread and confusing other users.
"We don't care if you can setup DR or how many machines you can use for it. This is just test for one machine as you can see."
Many thanks to all of you who sent bench results from their precious computers. It seems for now that Xeons are best choice for Vray. Is there someone with mighty Opterons in here to say opposite ?
Dual 3.06ghz Xeons with 2gb Ram. Windows XP Pro SP2. 5mins 38. Just for a matter of interest I'm sending the same scene to a couple of our other identical nodes, as one of them has been going really slow of late.

Hey Chris-x // there is something wrong with you machine .. it is running very slow compared to other reference CPU's. Your time with P4 / 3.3GHz has to be around 9-10 minutes in MAX R6, not 25 minutes.
What MAX version did you use during benchmark ? What is your system specification, MB + OS + memory + MAX version ?
