Good job I think both the ecterior and TV could be alittle more "exposed". If you could keep the darkness/ contrast on the ceiling and back of the room but let a little more light fall on the bed it would look really sweet!

It looks like you used a waves bump or displacement on the bed. The edges need to be smoothed out some more.

Something about the roof bothers me too. It looks like one giant piece of ply wood with a thick clear coat on.

Maybe bring in the direct light futher so we can see more highlights in the room.

I see some artifacts at the hallway entrance on the left.

Is there any kind of baseboard/trim?

Something about that red chair seems off too. Not enough shadows on it or something.

What is that black rail on the bottom left?

Finally, looks like a place I wouldn't mind visiting for vacation!

the black rail is as you said....a black rail. dont ask me aboutit. its part of the stairs where the camera is. as for the artifacts i dont think i remember them being there when it came to rendering the final. nor did i really care after not sleeping for approximately 32 hours. there are gaps between the roof boards. as for the darkness my other monitor seems to be a little off hehe "i see bright things"

That looks a lot better on my screen. Was that just a levels adjustment?

No its a combination of things in Photoshop that is my little thing that ive been doing for a few years now .. it puts a lot more contrast depth into the image.. but that is something that i would like to keep to myself ..

                            2 day project

                            here is an update
2 days for this one too. basically its just the living room area under that bedroom. im guessing 8 subdivs on my glossys isnt enough huh. they look awfull but i didnt have time to increase it. render times would have increased

other than the 1st pic being far far too big for casual viewing and the 2nd pic not being found (error 404), i think it looks pretty good.

heheh but yeah more subs....i was like WTF...ooh yeah he said something about that.

                              Nice work

actually there seems to be a fair amount of bad shadows/lighting, it could be a low IR map or something, just not enough shadow details around the ceiling fans and the tops of the pilars. and that dark edge along that back wall seems a touch strange.
