This is the interior of an exterior I posted a while back. I am waiting for exterior photos from the client. What you see now is an HDRI in V-Ray's Env slot and for the light, I added V-Ray planes in each window with a sky blue color. Render times were around 15 minutes. These will turn into animation, so good render times are critical.

Some bathroom shots. They are dark, but I left it so the client can see; it'll probably really be dark without beefing up the lighting.

Good looking exterior - lots of grain but I quite like that.
I personally am liking the mood/lighting of the bathroom shots and I feel like the overexposed exterior in the first is the one that is balanced best, as it feels a little too bright in the other shots.
Re. the light planes; I was under the impression that with the adaptive dome light there is now no need for them, so you might save more time by not using them....possibly....don't quote me

Shooting towards the windows is a pain! I don't usually use the V-Ray Sun/Sky because the Sun is always way too bright, but it has been a while since I tried it, so maybe I'll try it again with auto exposure. I think shooting towards the windows and autoexposure might be an issue. I started off lighting my scene with an HDRI, but the render times were too high, but it looked a lot better.

With a scene recently I was using an hdr with autoexposure and it was tough balancing stuff, as the auto does weird things to the hdri meaning I had to tweak multipliers strangely iirc....like .01 or something, to stop stuff completely blowing out.
I may have resorted to using posting the background back in tbh...

Very nice exterior shot Bobby, I like the lighting. It gives an impression of a real sunlight image. The only thing that bothers me is the tree in the foreground plane (upper-right corner).
The tree looks very bad and it simply ruins the good image. Maybe you should consider to replace it with a photo reference in Photoshop (you can still use this tree as a reference), or replace it with a better 3D tree.
As for the interiors, lighting is very nice. Did you use Vray planes as skylight portals or regular lights?

Here is the interior with an HDRI. I rendered it overnight, so I am not sure how long it took to render. The VFB shows the glare calc time and not the render time

I forgot to mention. I rendered it using hybrid render. I got errors, but only for my Walls&Tiles material, which was okay. I expected to see tons more, like in the earlier days.

Bedrooms with new HDRI. I don't know why the HDRI is rendering so bad out the windows. I just checked the HDRI is extremely high-resolution and should perfect. Any clues? These are done with GPU.
