did the best I could with what I had to work with...fwiw a lot of those 120 year old+ buildings, esp the sheds are leaning and out of whack. It is actually showing pretty much what would be seen out of the windows - the mashup of historic buildings across a narrow alley and mountainside beyond.

I hate to say it but I agree about the exterior photos - they are odd and confuse the view unfortunately. But if they are happy with it then job done!
I feel the need to point out that the book on the table is levitating - easy fix if not too late...

Everyone agrees that the background is distracting. It has been significantly altered to minimize the actual reality of how distracting it is. Any more and they fear getting into to trouble with mis-representing this multi million dollar unit for sale. They did not want to conceal it all with shades.

Dang that book!!! How can one look intently at all aspects of a renderign for days on end, have it reviewed by many and still never notice the obvious? happens pretty often. Thanks for pointing it out.

I understand that. The job is in any case finished and you can now walk away with the bill paid. The rest is their problem
That book...maybe it was fine when you placed it and it moved when you weren't looking? That's happened to me....honest it has Bloody computers!

forgive the late follow up, I was away for a couple of weeks and now that we're back, I'm dealing with severe vehicle trouble that occurred on the way home. (transaxle on GF's 86 westfalia syncro blew up in the middle of nowhere $$$ + clutch (original 176K miles) is being replaced on my 89 toyota pickup $$. when it rains....) Here is the backplate photo I shot from the deck outside the doors in the rendering. Also I photo I shot from inside the project (under construction). and one more for the heck of it.

Lol, the view from the inside is akward also in reality.

Yeah, I would suggest to the client not to use the outside photo. If the view doesn't help sell it then leave it out. Just blow out the outside so they don't see anything.
