    N 008 _ Dark
it's been a while and I almost missed this month .
So it is 5 am here, but I wanted to do something personal so here we are : ))
it is a fun experimental project based on Zaoeyo work where I've tried to play with textures and light , some of those shots are more refined than the others, but it was fan and I might get back to it to make a short animation out of it later .
Rendered using 3ds Max,VRay 5.0 GPU with its amazing VFB in addition to some color correction and sharpening in Photoshop .
I hope you like it .

Thank you ! I've just checked it and wow ! impressive work in there . I need to push my skills in animations and directing to that level one day.

              N 008.5 _ Dots

              Hello again,

I couldn't make any new personal work this month and as I want to keep this sketchbook alive I will just post this one here .
it is done mainly using tyFlow to take the colors from and image and remapped it into gradient then replace the colors with dots texture based on the color value.
it is little fun experiment with tyFlow but hey the rendering was done with VRay so here it is =D

And here is the tyFlow setup
I did it here using a workaround/hack starting by scaling the particles using the bitmap > Store the scale in a custom property > scale them again to normal scale > use the custom property to drive the mapping .
when I've done it I thought that using Scripting method would be much easier and so it was =D . I did write a scripted version and it worked pretty well without any workaround involved .

Here is a video to see it in action :

                N 009 _ LightMix

                Hello everyone
here is a fun sketch I did based on a frame I've seen during "The 3D and Motion Design Show" that Maxon shared on Youtube recently which is very inspiring btw .
tyFlow was used here to quickly through some skulls inside a box
For the lighting I've used 9 different light sources around the box then with the help of Lightmix I created the following moods from one white render, isn't that awesome feature to have!

                  N 009.5 _ Concrete

And yay I made another post this month! =D
it is kinda like a random RnD to test the new Recursive Subdivide that tyflow tyslice modifier have now .
As for rendering, I'm using the built in materiel library with some dirt using the new streaks option in VRay 5 .
you can download the max file from here (Max 2018 +and tyFlow V0.16090+ is needed)
