OOhh man.......... I' felt so stupid ...the reason i don't see any shadow behind is because my camera is right "in front" of the flash light....I've waste few hours finaly reallize just now...
here's the result when i shift the camera to the left abit
I tested Metroberlins idea of the small light source as well. I added the camera sphereical lens also. I think this technique would make for one great spooky animation? Picture a walk through an old abandoned building, or sewer system...etc with only a flash light/camcorder light. Then some glowing eyes off in the distance, etc..
Anyway, here's the test renders (low quality because I only let the PPT run for about 4 minutes)

I'm sorry simonreeves...but, i don't think that these images are better than the Maxwell ones (flash style) ....good renderings depend of a lot variables....with Maxwell is pretty easy to get good images without too many controls..I also love Vray but I'm not a fan (Maxwell either)
