Hi everyone,
i have been doing this for 6 years, up till now, and this is my first vray rendering. though i have been doing 3d for 6 years, modelling for me is still an issue, because i am so crazy about lighting, i forget the most important one: modelling.
so as i am picking up my modelling and study it all over again with vray
as a rendering engine. i hope i get a lot of comment and critics. i wish
to become better. thanks.
the setting that i am using for this Presidential suite.jpg image is:
irradiance map and light cache,
with lighting:
1 sunlight (photometric light with vray shadow from outside the window)
-vray environmental light (pure white)/skylight
-photometric weblights with vray shadow for downlights,
-vray lights for those standing lamp, table lamp, wall lamp, pendant lights.
-i set the irradiance map to medium for this one.
all materials are vray materials. since i didn't know how to tweak interpolations in those glossy materials like wood, i didn't do it, and it became grainy. question is: how come the image does not reflect any realism, compare to those you guys post in here. am i in the right path or totally wrong, please advise me. i will be more than happy.
thanks
