Crank up the sunlight i reckon. Its abit to weak.
    Needs a dash more contrast.
Nothing you cant fix in PS.. perhaps using my S curve color correction.

This is the S curve color correction (albeit a very faint S)
It often does wonders for LWF renders and renders that lack contrast.
Move the points around a little to get a nice result. (the top point should move up and to the left while the bottom point should be moved down and to the right.)
Ideally try and fix as much as you can in max to save need to do any post work.

Some info on it and results here

I see... I though you had a utility. I have played with PhotoShop's S-curve, but never used it in pratice. I'll play with it some more.

I tried it out on your image and got rather nice results.. Just need a tweak of B&C and H&S and it was looking alot better IMO.

                Sure thing.

                Just a quick 30second jobbie.
Basically S curve, then Shadow/Highlight to light up the shadows a touch and lowered the saturation a little.
Certainly not perfect, but if you compare your original render and this one it looks like a huge amount of gray has been removed from the image.

                          just minor adjustments now...
like the lack of bump/displace on those bricks the reflections on the SUV...the way ur road ends/ begins the grass...well i m just getting really picky now!

                          good work!

Wow, major improvement! I do, however, agree with ene.xis on the avalanche reflections. I really like the overall mood of the lighting.

Ya I was going to remove the truck, but that is the owners truck. I'll have to work on it. I also agree with the pavement meeting the grass... any suggestions? I was thinking about pebbles and rocks. I added a vraydisplacement on the bricks, but maybe a bump map will add some depth. Thanks for the comments.

your truck and tree trunks got worse IMO, but the rest got better. Add some bump to your pavement the specular is too perfect.
