Don't like the edit, but i don't like the original either. The original is infact too bright, and therefore looks kinda dull, but then again the edit is too dark. Something in between would be nice.
Dramatic, but not as dramatic.Dusan Bosnjak

Much better, although i'd still try to make it more dramatic. More contrast, less ambient light and brighter interior lights.
By the way, are you from Serbia?Dusan Bosnjak

Looks alot better than your original thread
But yeah needs more contrast and less ambient light . as already said.
I think your lowest uplight could do with being a little stronger.. maybe an IES to give them some character?
Here is my little modest PS edit.
Darkened the sky a little, a touch of curves, and some shadow highlight. You need to turn down the intensity of the larger uplights, and fix up your opacity maps for the trees, you can see the edges on them to easily.
2nd edit: dropped the saturation abit took away some green and added a little blue.

Do a "defringe" on the palms in photoshop, cut off the matte around them probably one pixel would do it.
If they are images on planes in max try setting the background color to approximatly the same as the palm in the image and the diffuse, sometime you will get that halo from the background coming through the edge of the alpha. If your comping it in pshop defringe the whole thing 1 pixel."It's the rebels sir....They're here..."

getting better. heres a good tip for you, and everyone.
if the trees had a white background, then when u drop them over, go to LAYER>Matting, and remove white matte. this will remove the nasty halo's around your image. this works on black to.Freelance TD/Generalist

Hello unknown,
Thanks for the compliment and good tip looks interesting!
I presume, you are talking about Photoshop? To test that I created square baige colour, and on one side I created white edge. When I clicked, remove white matte nothing happend. Image I created is one one layer, and underneath background layer. Any idea?

i doubt it will work just like that. try it on your tree layer, that should work fine.Freelance TD/Generalist
